Job Description :
Founded in 2003, Our client is a major wine importer and distributor throughout the Greater China wine market. Specialized in family owned wineries from the most renowned wine regions in the world, Our client is now exclusively distributing more than 600 labels from 13 different countries to luxury hotels, gastronomic restaurants, high-end retail chains, online shops, wholesalers, distributors and private customers in more than 150 cities in China..
Our client is looking for a professional Brand Manager to manage the French fine wines portfolio in the Greater China territory through commercial plans and initiatives to drive brand sustainable growth.
The position will be fully responsible for brand success & sales target achievement related with brand positioning, marketing strategy, wine promotion and budget control, etc.
-Lead cross functional business team to optimize brand performance & across all departments & channels via integrated planning and brand P&L.
-Drive the delivery of the brand activities and communications with wineries.
-Plan and lead the winery visiting plan and execution according to the marketing calendar.
-Be responsible for all the marketing reports to the related brands, providing market intelligence report including Chinese marketing trends, brand positioning and marketing plans for coming seasons.
-Provide ongoing category, channel & competitive analysis to develop recommended changes on brand strategy.
-Extract insights from a wide range of data to inform business decisions and create opportunities for growth.
Internal Communication and Brand Support
-Provide updated marketing information to Education team, Logistics team, to Sales team, to Finance team for related works.
-Prepare internal marketing reports for brand performance analysis, propose marketing plan for the coming season for each brand.
-Work together with Marketing Manager and regional teams to plan and implement winery visiting, brand event etc.
-Provide necessary support to regional teams for brand event, wine fair, winery trips etc.
-Provide study and research for targeted client if necessary
-Communicate with media, VIP clients directly for brand event.
-Anticipate future trends to stay ahead of competition.
Desired profile :
-Min 3 years of relevant experience in marketing/ sales gained from FMCG/ retail/ luxury goods industry or relevant management consultancy experience
-Fair understanding of the wine & spirit industry
-University degree major in Marketing, Foreign Languages, Wines
Technical and Interpersonal Skills
-High degree of personal presence with good networking, influencing and communication skills
-Fluent oral and written French and English, median/advanced Chinese
-Brand management knowledge on the brand positioning/ media / PR / promotion / research / merchandising
-Result-oriented, active, motivated, enthusiastic,energetic, and team player.
-French passport holder is required.
-Self-sufficient with a great sense of self-initiative
-Good Excel, PowerPoint skill
-Strong adaptability for growth and changes
