E-Commerce Product Photographer / Editor

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS :
* Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
* Outstanding Photography Skills/ Knowledge, Must have Studio Build & Lighting knowledge
* Technically strong- Advanced knowledge of studio lighting systems, Canon or Nikon DSLR systems, advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom)
* Advanced post-editing photos including resizing, retouching, color correcting, straightening and cropping, etc.
* Create Photography Style guide and implement consistent Product Branding across range of Automotive, Tool & Home Improvement Ranges
* Quality focused- Strong visual skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Work with Product Managers to shoot, edit & photoshop and process high-quality images ready for upload
* Work with Foreign Managers to Create Product Feature / Call Out pictures with clear and easy to understand illustrations
* Shoot Hero Product photography & range of Lifestyle-in-use environment & functional photos.
* Explain Product use — The who, where, how & product benefits - through visually appealing and easy to understand photography and illustrations
* Liaising with Management & e-Commerce team, discussing briefs, proposing graphical solutions to various communication needs and conceptualizing ideas.
* Work closely with Product Managers + Communicate with other editors/photographers to keep brand consistency and high quality per company standards.
* Creative thinking and development of new design concepts.
* Must have the ability to have images edited and delivered on short notice as well as meet all other deadlines provided
* Problem solver- you can quickly identify and solve technical problems
* Extremely organized, goal oriented and have the ability to work on multi projects simultaneously
* Monitoring Competitors for trends and best in class design
* Request a Portfolio / Samples of current work demonstrating skills

Requirements:

Acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines a must

Well-organized; time management skills a must

Great communication skills, both written and oral

Sense of urgency and ability to multitask and prioritize key projects

Working knowledge of, and confidence in, Excel-type spreadsheets

Preferred additional skills and qualities:

Practical Mind - Advantageous to have an Interest in DIY with understanding how to use Power and Hand Tools
