Working in close collaboration with the game development team, the Marketing Manager will manage, launch, promote and sustain our innovative video game products (PC, console and mobile) throughout their lifespan.
This position is located in our game studio in Shenzhen, but you will also work and collaborate with international teams, including but not limited to marketing & PR agencies, web development agencies, video production studios, artists, publishers and intellectual property brokers.
* From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:
Build, grow and engage with online game communities (Discord and social media).
Hold occasional events and activities in community groups.
Conduct market research, polls and other research.
Creating promotional assets for games, including videos, web assets, screenshots, store descriptions and visuals, and other assets required for marketing initiatives.
Plan and execute Kickstarter/Indiegogo/Fig campaigns.
Managing a marketing calendar based on product updates and promotions, and overseeing related announcements, merchandising, and community management.
Manage occasional game sales and promotions.
Manage paid user acquisition (Google and Facebook ads, etc.).
Analyze marketing campaign results and report them to the team.
* Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 2 years related experience in tech marketing.
A creative spirit allowing you to develop innovative, result-oriented initiatives.
Fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin.
Strong analytical skills and thoroughness.
Must have track record for success in product marketing or community management.
Energetic and resilient with a passion to work in an ever changing industry.
