GWC – Sales & Business Development Manager Job Description
GWC is looking for young, energetic, and passionate individuals who we can groom to be the next sales rock stars. Applicants must be creative, self-driven, persistent, able to quickly adapt with an outgoing personality. Applicants must have a basic understanding of the current technology ecosystem in both the United States & China. The main function of this role is to work with global companies on their event marketing strategy. You will act as a consultant during the sponsorship sales process of GMIC Beijing and uncover new ways to work with clients coming from all over the world.
Training will be provided.
- Understand the conference models, why companies need them for business, how we help companies develop new business through their sponsorship or exhibition - Understand and clearly communicate the value proposition of GMIC Beijing to client - Schedule calls, in-person meetings to pitch clients - Use a CRM system to log all interactions, and conversations - Follow up regularly with client to move lead down the pipeline - Prepare proposals in English & Chinese - Revise proposals according to clients’ needs - Prepare contract, follow up with client until contract is signed - Work with the financial team on ensuring timely payment from client - Work with the logistics and operations team on ensuring the client receives what they paid for.
This role will have a base salary along with a commission plan.
