Responsibilities:
1. Strong design skills and creativity to develop new products (i.e. high end light fixtures) from scratch do mass production by considering quality, user experience, DFM, cost.
2. Advanced design knowledge on mechanical parts and the molds.
3. Familiar with design workflow and management, familiar with international design rules and standards, competent in conducting design reviews and verifying design.
4. Interface with project management team on product development and product transfer from R&D to production.
5. Provide technical support to sales and customers.
Qualifications:
1. More than 7 years of working experience on mechanical design and at least 3 years in technical management position.
2. Degree in Engineering or related disciplines, postgraduate will be a plus.
3. Good English/Chinese verbal and written communication capability.
4. Possess knowledge in mechanical design of whole products like lamp fixtures.
5. Strong leadership qualities, interpersonal & communication skills, able manage and lead a team of highly skilled technical personnel.
6. Understand general business operation including knowledge of costs, manufacturing process, quality and documentation system.
